Summer! Hopefully the warmer weather will las for a while...
Our dogs suffer in the heat and some just love water. The following list informs you once more, of where you and your pet can swim or cool-off in and around Vienna:
- ALTE DONAU (near Angelibad)
- DOG-Zone ANGELIBAD (Ferdinand-Kaufmann-Platz, Obere Alte Donau, 1210 Wien)
- KAISERWASSER (Alte Donau, ahjacent to UNO-City), easily accessible by public transport
- DONAUINSEL (dogs permitted, except in designated areas!)
- PRATER, HEUSTADLWASSER (Donaukanal) and adjoining the ROSENWASSER
- MÜHLWASSER (1220 Wien) also plenty of shaded areas
- BADETEICH HIRSCHSTETTEN (part of the lake is a dog-zone)
- FERIENDORF „VOGELPARADIES“
- WIENERBERG TEICH (dogs must be leashed while in the water)
